The team will be studying 1 & 2 Corinthians. If you’re in 6th-12th grades (or 12 by September 1st), and this is a ministry you are interested in, please come and join us for a practice. Please contact the church office to get more details.

NEW Adult Bible Study - We will be starting a NEW study on Sunday mornings at 10am. This study (“The Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer) will coincide with what the children are learning. The cost is $10/book. Please sign up on the Ministry Board in the church foyer if you’re interested.

Community Group Bible Study - We will be reconvening our Bible study on Thursday, August 22nd at 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join with us. We are currently studying “The Epic of Eden” by Sandra L. Richter. It’s a spiritual exploration of the Old Testament. We started the book last spring, but we still have about 4 weeks to go, and then we will start a new study. Please contact the church office for more details if needed.

Backpack Drive - It’s that time of year for the “Gotta Go” back to school supply drive. This is a community event through Love, INC. Please prayerfully consider how you can help. You can donate school supplies in the bin located in the foyer.

It follows the pattern of the camp meeting style of years past. Nostalgia reigns. Old time preaching, singing from they hymn book, special music and Bible studies. The speaker is Reverend Eldred Kelley. In the afternoon, there will be group walks, quilting, mission projects, horseshoes, and camp projects. There are different afterglows each evening and a special day trip during the week. You camp in your RV with full hook-ups ors tay in a motel style room. All your meals are part of the package. It is a great relaxing time with friends.

We Need Your Help! - We have two children that our church has been sponsoring through ICCM (International Childcare Ministries). Through ICCM children receive two hot meals a day, school uniform, school supplies, and an excellent education. We are in need of $780.00 to fulfill our current commitment for 2019. It is very important to fulfill our commitment by August of 2019 or these children will have to leave school and be unable to continue their education. Please be praying about how you might be able to help provide for these children. Donations of any amount are welcome. Please mark your donations “2KIDS” if giving by check. If you are giving to this cause using our website, be sure to use the fund called “ICCM”.

Golden Arrow is a place for individuals who are recovering from mental illness in our community. The drop-in center provides peer support, activities, as well as social and relaxing settings for their consumers. THANK YOU to all who have provided food and supplies over these past months. The Director, Tim Galbraith, is most grateful, as are the consumers. We are the ONLY church doing this on a regular basis for them. If you would rather make a cash donation towards the supplies, mark it and place it in the offering plate.
