The items range from items for the kitchen, various bags, jewelry and much more. Mother’s Day is coming up on May 12th if you need a gift for mom! All sales support micro-financing projects in developing countries around the world. Contact Cheryl Smith to make a purchase or for more information.
Financial Class - We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University is that plan! It teaches God’s way of handling money. It’s a 9-week course, and the cost is $114 for materials. We may have scholarship money available for those who cannot afford the $114. If you are interested, please sign up on the Ministry Board or see Jennifer Marino
Camp Sunday - We will be having a special offering on Sunday, March 24th to help off-set some of the cost, for kids who want to attend summer camp at Covenant Hills. Gifts of any amount can truly make a difference, and are greatly appreciated! Please pray about how you can help in this ministry. Come dressed in your camp t-shirts or camp clothes on March 24th to show your camp support!
Children’s Ministries Meeting - If you’re interested in helping in Children’s Ministries in any way, you’re invited to join us for a short, informational meeting on Sunday, March 24th, immediately following the 11am worship service. We are truly thankful for our nursery caregivers, teachers, and team members that are helping to make this ministry possible! We still need more helping hands and are moving forward trusting that the Lord will provide. As in any area within the church, we cannot offer classes and ministries without the help of willing people. Please feel free to contact Lisa Wagner to see where you might be able to plug in!
Mother-Daughter Retreat - Mothers, daughters, grandmothers and special friends are invited to join us for a retreat at Covenant Hills Camp on April 12-13. This weekend is designed to encourage you and your girls to have FUN spending time together. You will make memories that will last a lifetime! Deadline to register is April 6th. Registration forms are located at the Ministry Board.
We Need Your Help! - We have two children that our church has been sponsoring through ICCM (International Childcare Ministries). Through ICCM children receive two hot meals a day, school uniform, school supplies, and an excellent education. We are in need of $780.00 to fulfill our current commitment for 2019. It is very important to fulfill our commitment by August of 2019 or these children will have to leave school and be unable to continue their education. Please be praying about how you might be able to help provide for these children. Donations of any amount are welcome. Please mark your donations “2KIDS” if giving by check. If you are giving to this cause using our website, be sure to use the fund called “ICCM”.
Golden Arrow is a place for individuals who are recovering from mental illness in our community. The drop-in center provides peer support, activities, as well as social and relaxing settings for their consumers. THANK YOU to all who have provided food and supplies over these past months. The Director, Tim Galbraith, is most grateful, as are the consumers. We are the ONLY church doing this on a regular basis for them. If you would rather make a cash donation towards the supplies, mark it and place it in the offering plate.
Bible Quizzing - An exciting part of our youth ministry is Bible Quizzing that combines Bible study and Christian competition. Practices are on Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Sunday at 5:00pm. If you are in 6th-12th grades, and this is a ministry you are interested in, please come and join us for practice. Contact the church office for more information.
