Dedicated Disciples - Each year friends of Covenant Hills Camp arrive for a week of work to prepare the camp for summer activities.  If you are available on May 6-11, come out and give us a hand.  We have jobs for both men and women.  We provide free camping or a motel style room and all your meals.  There are times of playing games in the Dining Hall or sitting around a campfire at night.  If your schedule allows you to come for one or two days during the week, that would still be very helpful.  Please call (810) 631-4531 to let us know you are coming.

Cookie Baking - Our church is supplying 300 cookies for the upcoming Break the Chain - Human Trafficking Awareness Event taking place on Monday, April 30th at Lapeer High School from 7-9pm. Our youth will be making the cookies on Sunday, April 29th, after the morning service, and we need supplies. Please see the Ministry Board to sign-up. Also, we encourage you to attend the event and learn about this important topic in our community.

Lapeer National Day of Prayer - Please join the community at the Lapeer Courthouse Lawn (downtown) on Thursday, May 4th at 6pm. This year's theme is "Unity". The goal of this prayer event is to drive the Christians in our community to a deeper commitment to prayer and to reaffirm the need for God to direct the paths of families, community, and nation. There will be a combination of public officials and area church leaders who will participate in the program with Scripture, readings, and prayer.

Society Meeting - We will be having a Society Meeting on Sunday, May 6th at 4:30pm.  We would like to encourage ALL members to attend this meeting, and have input on the future of our church.  Even if you're not a member, you're welcome to come and hear what's going on.  Please note that only members of the church have an official vote.  If you're interested in becoming a member, please see Pastor Bruce.

"Shoot for the Hills" Event - Covenant Hills Camp will be hosting this annual event on Saturday, April 28th at Genesee Sportsman's Club at 8:30am.  This fundraiser is to assist in raising funds to help with kids' scholarships, camp programming, and the hiring of summer staff and counselors.  Come on out and enjoy a day of shooting at clay pigeons, great fellowship, food and drink, and door prizes!  If you're interested or would like more information, there are brochures at the Ministry Board.

Water Filters for Haiti - Did you know that only $80 will provide clean, safe water for a Haitian family?  The LFMC team, going to Haiti in June, will be working alongside the Water Project for Haiti.  They will be working with WPH staff, building bio-sand water filters and installing them into homes of Haitian families.  You can be part of this project by making a donation of any amount toward the purchase of water filters.  All donations toward water filters need to be turned into the church office by Sunday, April 22nd.  The Haiti Mission Team Members would like to thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Dedication - Please join us as we dedicate the completion of the new addition.  We will be having a special service, along with a potluck on Sunday, April 22nd, following the morning worship service.  Please sign up on the Ministry Board and let us know what you will be bringing.  Ham and drinks will be provided.

Summer Camp - Our conference campground, Covenant Hills, in Otisville, MI has a camp for kids of all ages.  There are day camps for the younger kids and week-long camps for the older ones.  Our church wants every child to be able to attend, so we help reduce the costs of camp fees.  You can include the amount due with your registration form (make checks payable to Covenant Hills Camp) OR pay the camp directly at a later date.  The deadline for turning in camp forms is Sunday, April 22nd.  There is a $10 savings of the cost of camp if you turn your forms in at this date.  The brochures/forms can be found on the Ministry Board.  If you are interested, please take one, fill it out, and return it to the office.
