Nominating Ministry/Vision Team Leaders & Delegate for 2017: It's that time of year again when we nominate those that will be leading our different ministries here at LFMC. Those spots with a blank line, indicate there is nobody to fulfill the role for 2017. We would like to request that you make the effort to talk to any person that God has laid on your heart before nominating them. If you would like to make a nomination, please fill out the "nominating slip" and put it in the box on the table by Sunday evening, October 23rd.

"Painting Party" Building Fundraiser: Come for an afternoon of Fun, Food, and Painting with a Purpose on Sunday, November 6th at 2pm. We are raising funds for the addition to our church building. You can pick from two different paintings. If you would like to see them, please contact the church office. We have the pleasure of having Vicki Thomas from Visions by Vicki, as our instructor. You don't need to know how to paint to produce a beautiful painting. Invite your friends and family to come along! Both men and women are welcome; you can paint one and your spouse the other. What FUN!!! The cost is $35.00. Please sign up on the Ministry Board.

Trunks Full O' Treats: We will be having our annual "Trunks Full O' Treats" on Monday, October 31st from 6-8pm. This is a GREAT outreach to our community. We really need participation for it to be a success. There are many ways you can help! Sign-up sheets are on the Ministry Board for items to donate and ways you can help.

Teens For Christ Third Annual 5K Walk/Run: Join us on Saturday, October 22nd for the second annual TFC 5K Walk/Run! Pick up packers starting at 9:30am; Walk/Run begins at 10:30am. We'll be gathering at Covenant Hills Campground in Otisville, MI to run, walk, jog, or skip to help Teens for Christ continue the pursuit of debt freedom! You can also take the fundraising to the next level by finding donors to sponsor you for the 5K! All money goes to help keep the ministry "Up and Running!" Registration is only $25 and includes t-shirts for registrations before October 15th (after that, registration is $30 & t-shirts will be first come first serve). Registration fee waived for any participants who raise $50 or more!

"Annual Cookie Walk" Building Fundraiser: This annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, December 10 from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Each year we will post sign-up sheets and ask our bakers to sign up to donate 6 dozen of their best homemade cookies and/or other sweet goodies. On the day of the event, people will come and purchase cookies that will be sold by the pound. All proceeds will go to our building fund. Please consider contributing homemade treats and/or buying some made by others. This is a wonderful way to obtain a selection of amazing treats for the holidays while supporting our church! We also need 4-5 people to help serve on a committee with Linda. This would involve a one-hour meeting 2 times, and to help at the event on December 10th from 8:00am - 2:00pm. If you have any questions or would be interested in serving on the committee, please contact the church office or sign up on the Ministry Board.

Fall Family Fun Weekend: Covenant Hills Camp will be having their annual Family Fun Weekend on October 21-23. Come back and camp with us after school starts and before the cold winds of winter settle in. "Fall Family Fun" weekend is designed to draw you back in so you can see the beautiful fall colors, eat up all the leftover ice cream from Treats & Treasures, and burn what firewood is left at the woodshed. The best thing is that you pay for Friday night of camping and get Saturday night FREE!! If you are interested, please contact Covenant Hills @ 810-631 4531.
